Going to Quilt Market
Look for us to return on Tuesday 10/30 with great new products, notions and previews for 2008 quilt shop goodies!
We are impatiently awaiting the construction to be finished in our expansion. We are waiting on permits according to the contractor. Don't they realize how much we need the space to be completed!
Have a great weekend and we will see you next week!

Long Arm Quilting Deadlines
Hey Everyone!
In order to get your quilt back by December you need to have it to the shop by September 13, 2007. No exceptions. We have a list of 33 quilts to be quilted as of today and I'm just now into May's drop off's. Any quilts in to the shop after September 15 will be returned in January 2008. Thank you for understanding.
Mom blew out her darning pressure foot today on the Janome as she was quilting a sheet for someone! The metal that holds to the screw just broke off. It will take two days to get the part from Patrick (formally of BOB'S SEWING & VACUUM ) whom we lost to Tennessee recently. Things like that put a damper on deadlines that's for sure! That's her, Ann (aka: my MOM) above diligently sewing away again!

Busy Weekend!
Despite the fact we weren't able to participate in the Flamingo Run this year due to being in business only 10 months we had a few runners stop by the shop. Certainly not by the bus loads though. The gas prices probably effected bus load of people traveling to and fro. The winner of the Oliso iron is none other than Janet Goetz. Her's was the winning name pulled from the jar. Yippee for Janet! We only have one "Quilt Pink" block left for donation. We've raised $75.00 I believe Mom said.
Today was THIMBLEBERRIES CLUB what a blast we had! We played BINGO and a word search game, had show and tell, refreshments and went over the newsletters and club extra projects. Ester won our challenge of the dish towel decorating from only TB fabrics. Dad was the judge and boy did he have a tough decision to make. All of the entries were wonderfully crafted! Pictures to come next week.

Quilt Shop News
Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe the quilt shop has been open 10 months already. We have met such wonderful people so far and appreciate each and every one of our visitors and customers. This weekend is the "Flamingo Run", because we have not been open for a year we could not participate however, we have a special drawing for and OLISO iron. Just for making a purchase in our shop during the days of July 19 through July 21 we will enter your name for a chance to win a new iron.
We are participating in AMERICAN PATCHWORK & QUILTING QUILT PINK this year. We have two blocks we are passing out with a three dollar donation. We will return to you a $1.00 coupon to use at our shop once you return your finished quilt block. Blocks must be in by September 21, 2007. Three dollar donations will go to our local Susan G. Komen For The Cure. The finished quilt will be auctioned off on EBAY through AP&Q.
Thanks for stopping in and check back often for news!
